Mr. Kofi Ameyaw-Peprah is a seasoned banker with over 33 years experience in banking. He retired in 2012 as a Prestige Manager after working for 31 years with Barclays Bank of Ghana Ltd. and rising through the ranks to the managerial. He worked at various departments of the bank including Cashiering, Credit Operations, International Payments, Personal Banking and Prestige Banking. He played a key role in the establishment of Barclays Prestige banking in Ghana in 2000 after training in Zambia. He also played a key role in recruiting over 25,000 clients to both the prestige and premier banking before retiring in 2012.
He took up an appointment as the General Manager with AKAD Microfinance Company Ltd from 2013 to 2014. During his stint with AKAD he brought in a lot of innovations which have strengthened the pillars of the company. He later took appointment with IFS Financial Services Ltd in 2014 where he sees to the affairs of the company in Kumasi and the rest of the Ashanti Region. He is currently pursuing the associate membership of the Chartered Institute of Bankers. He has attended a number of programmes and courses including leadership skills, unlocking sales potentials, prestige banking, treasury management, BOG liquidity management and many more.
